Job Summary:

The Project Manager for the Non-Acoustic Anti-Submarine Warfare (NAASW) program will provide support to the ASAP Government Program Manager and leadership team. The right candidate will have expertise in business finance operations, contract management, configuration management including accounting for plant and material (Government Furnished Equipment), and integrated working schedule and master plans development, tracking, and execution.

Systems engineering support requires ability to synthesis myriad of competing priorities, using systems engineering principles including risk, opportunity and issue management, to provide recommendations to the ASAP Program Manager and leadership team on required task execution and mitigation plans. Support includes overseeing model development and implementing software version control and validation & verification procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide expert knowledge of NAASW technology and mission
  • Provide expertise and proven track record of successful project leadership
  • Provide knowledge and experience in software development life-cycle
  • Expert knowledge of Systems Engineering approaches
  • Manage personnel at disparate locations while meeting performance goals.
  • Manage, supervise, and direct program master plan.
  • Manage subcontractors.
  • Manage staffing for surge capacity to include cross-utilization, recruitment, and retention.

Desired:

  • Experience with NAASW and Advanced Sensors Application Program (ASAP)
  • Knowledge and experience working within ITAR requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with sensor development and technology transition

Education:

  • Required: BS +10 years' experience OR 14 years expereince
  • Desired: MS +5-7 years' experience

Supervisory Tasks:

  • Supervise and provide oversite for both on-site and contractor site personnel.
  • Provide updates, periodic reviews, status updates, and all other contract deliverables to COTR on time and meeting performance metrics.
