Job Summary / Responsibilities:
Provides on-site administrative assistance for our Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) customer in Reston, VA. Candidate must possess expertise for a wide range of administrative support from basic office automation to high level technical and management support. Administrative Specialists must have relevant education, training and experience in areas such as: office automation; logistics/accountable property shipping, receipt and record keeping; coordinating, tracking and expediting office work flows; providing high level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling RFIs/tasking, preparing official correspondence, receiving visitors, coordinating conferences and meetings; planning, directing and coordinating administrative services for an organization such as managing information and records, planning for facilities maintenance, and coordinating procurement of supplies, equipment and services; writing and editing technical documents; administering computer databases; providing software expert assistance to computer users; analyzing needs for, designing and conducting training programs; coordinating human resource activities such as manpower/force planning, creating and updating position descriptions, facilitating recruitment and hiring actions, tracking personnel appraisals and awards and giving expert counsel to employees and leadership on personnel decisions; and implementing Government/IC policies and regulations for personnel, information, physical/facility, industrial, operations and computer security for collateral, Top Secret, special compartmented information (SCI), special access program (SAP) and other programs.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

 

  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite

  • Respond to inquiries from customers, management, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

  • Knowledge on Security Policies and Clearance processes Human Resource Experience desired 

Education Requirements:
Required: BA/BS plus - up to 5 years related experience is required OR in lieu of degree 4 - 9 years in related field 

Desired: BA/BS plus - 8 to 10 years related experience

Special Requirements: TS/SCI CI Poly Clearance is required
