Job Summary:  ZelTech has a requirement for a Human Intelligence Targeting Specialist to support AFSOC on the A2 Staff.

Essential Job Functions:  To function as a Human Intelligence Targeting Specialist the primary duties will include support to operational elements by providing operational research, analysis and report processing in furtherance of the client's objective to acquire intelligence. The member will utilize DoD and customer-specific databases to conduct multiple layers of research and write summaries, reports, official correspondence, and guidance and will also be expected to provide thorough and knowledgeable briefings on the analysis to customer management.  Management of operational and support activities for HUMINT operations.  Serve as the primary point of contact for collectors regarding all HUMINT report writing, processing, and publication.  Serve as the command's HUMINT Online Tasking and Reporting (HOTR) system/database and the Counter-Intelligence and Human Intelligence requirements and Reporting Management Environment (CHROME) administrator.  Research/develop potential leads.  Propose recommendations, and identify the pros/cons of possible operational scenarios.  Provide operational recommendations for future/ongoing operations, ensuring any CI issues are identified to protect the client's personnel.  Apply HUMINT collection capabilities and targeting development strategies and processes against prioritized regional and transnational target sets. Apply all-source analysis to HUMINT targeting Coordinate legal and policy issues affecting operations.  Provide in-depth research on existing operations, and intelligence assessments using all-source and classified information.  Finally, provide briefings on operations to senior customer officials, identifying potential issues and courses of action.


The member will provide administrative assistance in support of field elements and personnel and be expected to demonstrate proficiency in classified databases.  The member will be expected to develop relationships with various operational components to meet the client's requirements.  The member will be required to participate in MAJCOM level coordination processes (meetings, conferences, VTCs, etc....) which requires the member to demonstrate extensive HUMINT knowledge and expertise, while capturing issues, milestones, action items and/or due-outs.  The member should have professional knowledge of a wide-range of human intelligence targeting principles, concepts, and techniques to accomplish difficult and complex work assignments.

The member must be able to interpret and apply Director National Intelligence, National Security Agency, Central Intelligence Agency, Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and Air Force (AF) security policies, regulations, practices, architecture, and directives to develop the command's HUMINT targeting infrastructure.  The member must have knowledge of full-range of concepts, principles, and practices in all-source analysis, raw data fusion, and skills applying this knowledge to difficult work assignments.  Lastly, the member may assist in developing new or modified work methods, innovative approaches, and alternate uses of new or available data sources.           

Education:  Must be a graduate of the Joint HUMINT Analysis Targeting Course (JHATC) or similar DoD Approved HUMINT Targeting Course.   

Desired:  Bachelor's or higher

In Lieu Of:  

11 years' experience with High School

10 years' experience with an Associate's Degree

9 years' experience with a Bachelor's Degree

8 years' experience with a Master's Degree

4 years' experience with a Doctorate Degree

Special Requirements:  

Ability to work shift work hours to include afternoon and nights as required to meet adHOC requirements--traditional work hours are M-F during the day, but adHOC requirements may mandate alternate work schedules to meet immediate needs.

Some travel (less than 25%) and active TS/SCI clearance
